Board Export+ Privacy Policy

Effective October 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Board Export+ by Nikaj collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Board Export+ Power-Up for Trello and its related services.

Optional product analytics

Public website page, pricing-view and installation-click analytics are disabled while no consent controls are displayed. Completed-export observations in the Power-Up require a previously stored explicit analytics consent choice; fresh visitors are not opted in. You can remove a saved choice by clearing this site’s browser storage. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals also keep collection off. If consent storage is unavailable, analytics remain off.

When allowed, limited page views, clicks to the official Trello installation listing, and API-confirmed completed exports are sent directly to the existing PostHog EU Cloud project. Payloads contain the product, surface, a fixed public page name, and, for completed exports, the format and scope. The SDK uses an anonymous in-memory identifier. Network requests necessarily expose connection metadata to the recipient.

We disable autocapture, session recording, automatic page tracking, person identification, and exception capture. Analytics do not contain Trello board content, card titles, access tokens, exported files, email addresses, or raw board, member, workspace or export-job identifiers. The consent choice and a bounded completed-export deduplication list are stored locally; job identifiers in that list are not transmitted. Analytics failures never prevent exports or billing. Activation and payment analytics are not currently collected.

No analytics consent card is displayed on the public website. Clearing site storage also removes locally saved preferences; Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control can suppress analytics without clearing them.

1. About Board Export+

Board Export+ helps Trello users export board, list, and card data to formats such as CSV, JSON, Excel, PDF, Word, PNG, and ZIP. It also provides saved presets, scheduled exports, export history, retained downloads, and optional email or webhook delivery.

2. Information We Process

When you connect or use Board Export+, we may process Trello data that you can access and choose to export. This may include workspace and board names, lists, cards, descriptions, labels, members, dates, checklists, comments, activity, custom fields, links, and attachment metadata.

We may store your Trello member ID, username, full name, authorization token, workspace and board references, saved export settings, presets, branding settings, schedules, delivery configuration, export job history, and retained export files. Authorization tokens are protected in storage and are used only to perform actions you request or configure.

We may process operational information such as IP address, browser and device information, request times, error details, and server logs to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

If you purchase Board Export+ Pro, Paddle processes your payment and billing details as merchant of record. We receive and store limited customer, transaction, and subscription identifiers needed to provide and manage paid access. Board Export+ does not store full payment-card numbers.

3. How We Use Information

We process information to:

4. When Information Is Shared

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to provide Board Export+, follow your instructions, comply with law, or protect the service and its users.

This may include Trello and Atlassian for Trello access, Paddle for payments and subscription management, infrastructure and email providers that help operate the service, and webhook destinations or email recipients that you configure. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies where applicable.

5. Data Retention

Trello content is processed to create the exports you request. Export history, retained files, presets, schedules, delivery settings, and account records are kept only as long as needed to provide the service, meet configured retention periods, maintain required business records, resolve disputes, or comply with law.

You can remove retained exports and saved settings through available product controls. You may also revoke Board Export+ access in Trello or contact us to request deletion. Some limited billing or security records may be retained where legally required.

Board Export+ polls Trello's member privacy compliance service for account deletion, account updates, token revocation, and token expiration events. We act on those events to delete, update, or stop using affected Trello personal data as appropriate.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and protection of stored authorization tokens. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, or to receive a portable copy of it. You may revoke Trello access from your Trello account settings at any time.

To exercise a privacy right or ask a privacy question, email support@nikaj.dev. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

8. International Processing

Board Export+ and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers of personal information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Board Export+ changes. We will publish the revised policy on this page and update its effective date.
